Task 5 - Wiki

How to evaluate Wiki you say? How does one evaluate utter perfection? As a first time user of Wiki, I'd say I rather enjoyed the experience. It was easy to navigate and gave me licence to get my creative juices flowing. And boy did they flow, from random pictures, to colourful font and even a few comments thrown in for good measure. Much laughter was had while messing with other people's pages (insert evil laugh here).

How can this be used in a library you ask? The better question should be how could this not be used in a library. Oh the applications...but mostly this would be about resource sharing between a team in a library or even across different branches. Pages could be set up to recommend books in different genres, assist information gathering for similar topics or even as a opportunity to share ideas and learnings about different programs or events. The ability to share a live document for all staff to shape towards a common goal of provided the best possible library experience and services for patrons is truly a thing of great beauty.
